Learning to watercolor....

I got a new watercolor instructional book today. Here is my first attempt at something from it, at least this one doesn't look like the dog did it.

Slow week...

Sorry that I haven't posted lately. I took the kids out on Tuesday when they weather was still nice and ended up falling on my back. Have been in pain since. I am finally feeling better today after icing my butt and back for 4 hours. Here are some pics I took Tuesday:

Walking in Memphis....

I took these when I got home and saw that my inside bulbs had all started to bloom!

Here are some photos from our Memphis trip....I really like the bottle tree. That is an old Vodoo thing, they go on the trees and as the wind blows over the openings the sound wards against evil spirits.

No new photos today. Henry decided to be naughty and ran from the front yard to the creek bed without me. Naughty little sh*t. Here are some photos from the last few days that I was messing around in my photo software with.

I took this same photos with ISO settings at 100 and 1000. The 100 was much better on this sunny day.

This is our cat, Mia as she walks the neighborhood.

If you look closely you can see a total of 4 mallards flying away as Henry burst into their little peaceful creek.

There is a fungus among us....
