Missing?
I took like 700 photos whilst in New York this past weekend, but my free time has fallen to nil. The new job has me working until at least 5pm, and I am really having trouble adjusting to that. I got so much done from 3-5pm before! What a difference. Anyway - I will get some photos up soon I PROMISE! (I also promise not to post 700 pics! More like 12, okay?)
The new job is fabulous. People are great and most have worked here as there only job ever and have been here for 20+years. My two main bosses are easy to get along with and open to suggestions and if you know me, you know I have them! Maybe I should blog about the new job a bit with out mentioning my company name of course. The handbook suggests that we refer to our employer in blogs as a "well known consulting firm in the petrolium industry" I am pretty sure they spell petrol correctly, but I am a rebel and refuse!
Some of the things they do are SO old school. Until 5 years ago they still did all their accounting in ledgers, you know what I mean. Those huge books that Bob Cratchet used to keep Scrooge's books. The old ledgers are still in one of the rooms here. Can you imagine???
I am still in touch with several of my "peoples" from the old Company. I do miss them, but I will try to keep contact with them. They were great to work with.
Ok - enough for now. Remind me to post about the library, prom and debutantes!!
